User-Generated Content (UGC) Terms of Use

These User-Generated Content Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain how I AM BEST / Periskop d.o.o. (“we,” “us,” “our”) may use content you submit or make available to us through social media, our website bestdadbook.com, email, or any other communication channel (collectively, “User Content”).

 

By agreeing to these Terms, you give us permission to use your User Content in connection with the I AM BEST brand, including our product I AM BEST Dad in the World, for marketing, advertising, social media, website use, and promotional activities.

 

 

1. When These Terms Apply

You agree to these Terms when:

  1. You respond to our request to use your User Content (e.g., replying “yes,” “OK,” “you can use this,” or any affirmative response).

  2. You tag or mention us on social media, including:

    @bestdadbook, #bestdadbook, or any other I AM BEST–related tag we communicate.

  3. You send User Content to us directly via email (info@bestdadbook.com) or through messages (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

  4. You upload a review, photo, or video of our products on bestdadbook.com or any platform we operate.

Once you provide that permission, these Terms apply to the specific User Content you have shared.

If your User Content includes a minor (your child), the Release for Minors section below also applies.

 

 

2. What We Mean by “User Content”

“User Content” includes, without limitation:

  • Photos

  • Videos

  • Text, captions, and comments

  • Reviews, testimonials, and ratings

  • Audio clips

  • Stories or descriptions of your experience

  • Images of your child doing missions, putting stickers on the poster, etc.

  • Any other content you create and share with us

By submitting User Content, you confirm that it is your original material and does not infringe any third-party rights.

 

 

3. License You Grant to I AM BEST

By submitting User Content or giving permission for its use, you grant I AM BEST / Periskop d.o.o., including our affiliates, partners, contractors, and service providers, a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use your User Content for any lawful marketing or promotional purpose. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Our website (bestdadbook.com) and related pages

  • Social media accounts

  • Paid advertisements

  • Emails and newsletters

  • Printed marketing materials

  • Retail or partner channels

  • Press, PR, and promotional campaigns

We may edit, crop, adapt, combine, or modify your User Content at our discretion.

You also grant us permission to use your:

  • Social media username

  • First name

  • Likeness and image

  • Descriptions, captions, and any identifying information shown in the content

We have no obligation to use your content, and you will not receive compensation for its use.

 

 

4. Your Representations and Warranties

By submitting User Content, you confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old.

  2. You own the User Content or have full legal rights to grant this license.

  3. Anyone appearing in the User Content has given permission for its use.

  4. Our use of your User Content does not violate any rights, including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.

  5. Your content does not contain unlawful, offensive, or harmful material.

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless I AM BEST / Periskop d.o.o. from any claims arising from your User Content or your breach of these Terms.

 

 

5. User Content Including Minors

If your User Content includes a minor (e.g., your child placing stickers on the poster), you represent that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the minor, and

  • You consent to the use of the minor’s name, likeness, voice, and image according to these Terms.

You waive any right to inspect or approve how the content is used.

We will treat all personal data of minors in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

 

 

6. Privacy and Data Handling

By submitting User Content, you acknowledge that:

  • Your content may be public on our website and social channels.

  • We may process and store your content and related personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Content may be processed on servers located outside your country.

If you do not want us to process your personal information in connection with your User Content, please do not submit it or grant permission.

7. Removal of User Content

You may request that we stop using your User Content at any time by emailing info@bestdadbook.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to remove content under our control.

However, we cannot control content already published by third parties or shared outside our channels.

We may also remove User Content at our discretion.

 

 

8. Intellectual Property Notice

You do not gain ownership rights to any I AM BEST brand material by submitting User Content.

All I AM BEST branding, logos, trademarks, and designs remain the property of Periskop d.o.o.

 

 

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update or change these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on bestdadbook.com.

Your continued submission or approval of User Content after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
